Dr. Klaus-Peter Heigel is the oenologist and cellar master at Weingut Hans Wirsching in Iphofen, Franconia, where he has been responsible for production from vineyard to cellar since 2015 and shapes the estate’s wine quality. He is the cellar master/winemaker at the VDP member estate, and the estate’s press page credits him as "Oenologe" and notes his 2020 International Wine Challenge recognition as "Sweet Wine Maker of the Year.".
