i. Biography

Kurtis Ogasawara is the Director of Winemaking at Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, Napa Valley, a position he assumed in April 2023. A graduate of UC Davis with a degree in Viticulture and Enology, he previously developed his winemaking expertise at Newton Vineyard, Domaine Chandon, and Mumm Napa. Since joining Robert Mondavi Winery in 2015, he has collaborated closely with Winemaker Emeritus Geneviève Janssens and helped achieve CCOF organic certification for the historic To Kalon Vineyard.
