i. Biography
Lluís Fernández Punset is the chef of Els Pescadors in Llançà, where he leads the family restaurant founded by his parents in the former fishing tavern at the Port of Llançà. The restaurant says he grew up in its kitchen and later trained at the Barcelona School of Hospitality Management before working in notable kitchens including El Celler de Can Roca, ABaC, Casa Bilbao, Akelarre, Le Fox, and Relais Fleuri. He returned home to carry forward the house’s seafood tradition, combining family memory with experience gained in other cuisines and cultures.
