That background reads through his career as continuity rather than reinvention: a practice built around place, repetition, and the discipline of doing the same hard work well. Early roles at Humberto Canale and Bodega Del Fin Del Mundo gave Miras the kind of grounding that comes from consecutive harvests and close contact with the vineyard’s demands. The work accumulated season by season, with each stop adding to a technical vocabulary formed through repetition, observation, and the steady refinement that defines cellar work over time. In 2017, founding Bodega Miras gave Miras a parallel line of work that extended his own perspective without leaving the world that shaped it. The move marked an added layer of authorship, but it remained tied to the same method: build through time, stay close to the material, and let judgment form through use.

Today

At Bodega Del Fin Del Mundo in Neuquén, the Chief Winemaker role places Marcelo Miras at the point where oversight and hands-on decision-making meet. The title implies both range and control, but the craft itself still rests on the basics: grapes, land, and the transformations managed between them.

Signature

The range in Marcelo Miras’s signature wines shows a portfolio built on consistency as much as variation. Jovem Trousseau, Familia Miras Pinot Noir 2019, Familia Miras Malbec 2019, Jovem Malbec 2020, and Jovem Sémillon 2021 trace a clear pattern: the repeated Familia Miras and Jovem names give the wines a shared structure, while the vintages place each release in its own season and moment.
