Maria Gonzalez is the Executive Chef at Mizu in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she leads the kitchen and shapes the restaurant’s Asian-inspired, live-fire menu. A classically trained chef with nearly three decades in hospitality, she previously held roles at Houston restaurants including Saba Blue Water Café, Aries Restaurant, the Houstonian Hotel & Spa’s Manor House, and multiple concepts for Local Foods Group.
