i. Biography
Michael Myers is the owner, president, CEO, and founding distiller of Distillery 291 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he built the company into a nationally and internationally recognized Colorado whiskey producer. Before entering spirits, he worked in New York City as a fashion and beauty photographer; he founded Distillery 291 in 2011 and has said he is a self-taught distiller. He is the founding vision behind its Wild West–inspired whiskey style.
