i. Biography
Michael Stadtländer is a German-born chef and restaurateur based at Eigensinn Farm in Singhampton, Ontario, where he and his wife Nobuyo have run a farm-to-table dining operation since buying the 100-acre property in 1993. He has been recognized in Canada as a pioneer of the farm-to-table movement and was named the 2011 Restaurateur of the Year by the Canadian Association of Food Service Professionals.
