Michael Wignall

Michael Wignall is the chef patron of The Angel at Hetton in North Yorkshire, where he and his wife Johanna acquired the 15th-century inn in 2018 and reopened it as a Michelin-starred dining destination. The restaurant earned a Michelin star after about a year under his leadership, and the venue’s official site says The Angel has also received five AA Rosettes and national acclaim since reopening in 2018.
