Nellie Tischler is the co-owner and business partner of chef Paulraj Karuppasamy at Paper Dosa, Santa Fe’s South Indian restaurant, which opened in 2015 at 551 West Cordova Road. She and Karuppasamy met in San Francisco before moving to Santa Fe, where they first catered and held weekly pop-ups before opening the restaurant. She has described Paper Dosa as a place centered on gluten-free dosa and approachable home cooking.
