i. Biography
Akmal Anuar is a Singaporean chef and restaurateur. He began his professional career at Les Amis, then worked at Saint Pierre and Iggy's; at Iggy's he progressed to head chef during his 2006–2013 tenure. He moved to Dubai in 2014 and is chef-owner of 11 Woodfire. Harummanis' current Dubai page also identifies Chef Akmal Anuar as leading a new chapter of the family's modern Malay restaurant at Al Wasl 51.
