i. Biography
Nic Bowen is the Chief Winemaker at Howard Park Wines in Western Australia, a role he began with the 2021 vintage. Howard Park says he was born into a well-known West Australian winemaking family and had spent 16 vintages working at prestigious wineries in Australia and internationally before joining the team. Wine Companion notes that after working in South Australia and alongside sparkling wine specialist Ed Carr at House of Arras, Bowen returned to Western Australia to help shape Howard Park’s sparkling and portfolio wines.
