The technical base for Marchesi’s work came through study at the University of California, Davis, where the foundations of modern winemaking gave structure to the work that followed. Since 2009, she has been head winemaker of Far Niente Winery, a role that places her directly inside the house’s Napa Valley expression. As Director of Winemaking for Far Niente Winery and Dolce, Marchesi brings together scientific training and practical judgment shaped by repeated harvest cycles.
