i. Biography
Oliver Poilevey is chef and co-owner, with his brother Nicolas, of Obélix in River North and Le Bouchon in Bucktown, the bistro their father opened. He cooked at Le Duc in Paris and at The Publican in Chicago before taking over Le Bouchon's kitchen, and the brothers opened Obélix in 2022. They were 2024 James Beard semifinalists for Outstanding Restaurateur.
