Perrin Yates is the Executive Chef at Huka Lodge in Taupō, New Zealand, where he oversees daily changing menus built around premium local produce and seasonal ingredients. Huka Lodge describes him as originally from Brisbane and notes that he brought experience from leading Australian luxury resorts including Park Hyatt Sydney and qualia on Hamilton Island before joining the lodge kitchen. A later profile also says he helped establish Saltwater Seafood Grill & Oyster Bar in Mount Maunganui before moving to Huka Lodge.
