Peter Schäffer is the cellar master and winemaker at Weingut Egon Schäffer in Escherndorf, Franconia, where the family estate is led by Peter and Sophie Schäffer after the handover from father Egon in early 2022. The estate is a long-established VDP member in Escherndorf, known for dry wines from sites including Escherndorfer Lump and Am Lumpen 1655.
