The Climb
Enology training in Alba and cooperative cellar work in Barbaresco formed the technical base: Renato Vacca, founder, trained at School of enology in Alba before working as winemaker at Produttori del Barbaresco (until 1997). The move into an estate label came with ownership and founding responsibility at Cantina del Pino in Barbaresco (1997–2020), a period tied to Barbaresco’s established discipline rather than a break from it.
