i. Biography
Rudolf Štefan is the chef-owner of Pelegrini in Šibenik, Croatia, which earned Dalmatia's first Michelin star in 2018. Holding a degree in economics from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, he transitioned into professional culinary arts through self-study and European apprenticeships before opening Pelegrini in 2007. Štefan is also the founder of the international culinary congress Chefs' Stage and the non-profit Budi Foodie Foundation.
