Sakalis Stelios

Stelios Sakalis is a Greek-born, Michelin-starred executive chef who leads the culinary operations at Il Poggio Rosso and Osteria Il Grigio at Borgo San Felice Resort in Castelnuovo Berardenga, Tuscany. Born and trained at the DCT College of Culinary Arts in Switzerland, he honed his technique in world-kitchens including The Fat Duck, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, and Casa Perbellini. Sakalis previously earned and held a Michelin star at Il Pievano at Castello di Spaltenna before taking over Il Poggio Rosso in July 2025 in collaboration with chef Enrico Bartolini.
