i. Biography
Shingo Gokan is a Japanese bartender and founder of SG Group, the hospitality group behind Speak Low and Sober Company in Shanghai, The SG Club in Tokyo, and Gokan in Hong Kong. He opened Speak Low in 2014 and Sober Company in 2017, later expanding to Tokyo with The SG Club and further into Hong Kong with Gokan. His work has been recognized internationally, including a Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Award for International Bartender of the Year in 2017.
