Stefan D. Wellanschitz is the winemaker behind Kolfok in Neckenmarkt, Burgenland, Austria, where he built an independent project in 2013 after moving beyond the family winery’s more traditional style. He is born into a winemaking family in Neckenmarkt and producing organically farmed, biodynamically informed, low-intervention wines with a strong focus on terroir and white varieties.
