Stephen Alonso is a Puerto Rican bartender and co-founder of Identidad Cocktail Bar in San Juan, launched in July 2024 with business partner Edrick Colón. He is a co-owner/co-founder at Identidad, a bar built to showcase Puerto Rican identity through cocktails and Caribbean/Latin ingredients, and the bar won the 2025 James Beard Award for Best New Bar.
