Steve Rogstad is the winemaker and vice president of winemaking at Cuvaison Estate Wines in Napa Valley’s Los Carneros appellation, where he has guided the estate’s winemaking since 2002. Cuvaison describes his work as focused on small-lot, site-driven Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot from the Tai Estate Vineyard, and notes that he oversaw construction of the winery designed for this approach.
