i. Biography
Szilárd Tóth is the Head Chef and co-owner of SALT Budapest, a fine-dining restaurant in Hungary that holds one Michelin Star and a Michelin Green Star. Originating from northeastern Hungary, he draws heavily on regional peasant traditions, wild foraging, and preservation techniques to shape progressive Hungarian gastronomy. Before founding SALT in 2019 alongside Máté Boldizsár, Tóth previously led the kitchen at the acclaimed Budapest wine bar and restaurant Innio.
