i. Biography
Szilárd Tóth is the Head Chef and co-owner of SALT Budapest, a fine-dining restaurant in Hungary. Originating from northeastern Hungary, he draws heavily on regional peasant traditions, wild foraging, and preservation techniques to shape progressive Hungarian gastronomy. Before founding SALT in 2019 alongside Máté Boldizsár, Tóth previously led the kitchen at the Budapest wine bar and restaurant Innio.
