Tóth Szilárd is the chef and co-owner of SALT Budapest, which opened in 2019 in Budapest’s Királyi Pál utca and later earned a Michelin star. His cooking is rooted in his birthplace in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, where he draws on childhood nostalgia and Hungarian gastronomy as the foundation of the restaurant’s fine dining identity.
