Timothy Charles

Timothy Charles is the Executive Chef at Fogo Island Inn in Fogo Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, where he leads the kitchen team and shapes menus that change with the seasons. He joined the project in 2012 during the inn’s opening phase as a sous chef, later serving in roles including pastry chef and executive sous chef before being appointed Executive Chef in January 2022. Originally from Prospect Village, Nova Scotia, he has also become closely associated with the inn’s local foodways and community-centered culinary program.
