i. Biography
Tom Klein is the proprietor of Rodney Strong Vineyards in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California, and the Klein family has owned the winery since 1989. He is a fourth-generation California farmer who studied business at Stanford and began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company before becoming involved in wine after evaluating Rodney Strong Vineyards as a consultant. Under his leadership, Rodney Strong Vineyards was named Wine Enthusiast’s 2013 American Winery of the Year, and Klein received Wine Enthusiast’s 2024 American Wine Legend Wine Star Award.
