i. Biography
Vanarin Kuch is the pastry chef and owner of Koffeteria, a Cambodian-American bakery and café in Houston’s East Downtown/EaDo neighborhood. Koffeteria opened in 2019 after Kuch returned to Houston following years working in top kitchens in New York and Chicago. The bakery has received national attention, including a 2024 James Beard nomination for Outstanding Bakery and coverage for desserts and savory items rooted in Kuch’s Cambodian-American background.
