At Vanderbilt University, Vivek Surti built the foundation for a practice that would later move from writing to service. In 2009, he began blogging at Vivek’s Epicurean Adventures in Nashville, where the work was less about ornament than about observation: food, memory, and culture treated as subjects worth parsing with care.
