In 2021, Dalicuba became winemaker and viticulturist at Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa, bringing his Merlot focus into sharper relief. The emphasis sits at the centre of how his work is understood, not at the edge of it. His own line captures the method: “First taste, then analyse and never rush into decisions.” In trade terms, it points to a cellar floor governed by observation before action.

Vusi Dalicuba has received Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards, VinLog Merlot Trophy (2024). Vusi's honors include VinLog Merlot Trophy (2024). By 2025 he was preparing for his fourth harvest there.
