i. Biography
Xiaosong Zhao is the Head Chef at Chun Tai Restaurant, located at the Relais & Châteaux property Su Shien Valley in Chengdu's Qingcheng Mountain. Guided by Sichuanese culinary heritage and seasonal Taoist philosophy, he focuses on mountain terroir and plant-forward gastronomy. Zhao has also served as a chef at Chengdu's restaurant Silver Pot, known for incorporating Sichuan-farmed caviar into contemporary regional dishes.
