Yeo Qing He

Since 2018, Yeo Qing He has been the founder and Head Roaster of Apartment Coffee in Singapore, with the work of building the business sitting squarely on roasting discipline, blending, tasting, and adjustment. In that kind of role, the craft is not just in the roast curve but in the repeatable decisions that shape how a café holds together over time. Apartment Coffee, under Yeo’s direction, reflects that approach: precision used as working method, consistency treated as part of quality, and careful attention carried through each stage.

As founder and Head Roaster, Yeo has remained close to the material from the beginning, making the small calls that define the house style and the standard behind it. To head roast is to stay attentive to grain, heat, timing, and change, and since 2018 Yeo Qing He has carried that responsibility with that kind of focus. The result is a practice built on nuance and repetition rather than display, with Apartment Coffee shaped through daily discipline and the accumulated effect of many exact decisions.

Yeo's honors include Singapore Brewers Cup Champion (2018) and World Brewers Cup 6th place (2018). Those results place him in a strong competitive year, with a national title and a top-six world finish arriving in the same season.
