Where They Are Now

Those responsibilities are built around a single focus: Moschofilero. At Troupis Winery, the variety is the house’s working core, the thread that links identity to experiment. Under Yiannis Troupis’s direction, it is kept in view without being fixed in place, turned into different forms while staying tied to its origin. That gives the portfolio a clear internal logic. Each wine sits within the same framework of restraint and curiosity, with tradition and innovation treated as tools rather than opposites. The work reads as deliberate rather than expansive for its own sake.

Signature

Yiannis’s signature wines include Hoof & Lur Moschofilero, Route Gris, Fteri Moschofilero, Ekato Moschofilero Rosé, and Tomi Rose. Read together, they show a winery working a single indigenous grape through several distinct expressions. The range is the point: different wines, same source, with Moschofilero carrying the variation in style, texture, and aromatic emphasis.

In Their Words “Since establishing Troupis Winery, our objective was to produce first-rate, quality wines from Indigenous Greek grape varieties using both traditional and newly innovative winemaking methods.” The statement is plain about the method. Indigenous Greek grape varieties remain central, and the winemaking draws from both inherited practice and newer technique.
