Historic Champagne House
Lanson was founded in Reims in 1760. Cellar master Hervé Dantan now shapes its numbered Création blends. The house works with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, drawing grapes from a roughly 400-hectare supply footprint that includes about 60 hectares of its own vines. That distinction matters: the full sourcing area is larger than the estate-owned vineyard.
Blends and named sites
Le Black Création is a starting point for the house’s blended style, with Le Rosé Création offering a rosé expression. Clos Lanson comes from a named parcel, while Le Green Bio-Organic is made from fruit grown at the Malmaison Estate. The range moves from multi-site house blends to wines with narrower origins.
