Lanson was founded in Reims in 1760. Cellar master Hervé Dantan now shapes its numbered Création blends. The house works with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, drawing grapes from a roughly 400-hectare supply footprint that includes about 60 hectares of its own vines. That distinction matters: the full sourcing area is larger than the estate-owned vineyard.
