Aldo Sohm is the wine director at Le Bernardin in New York City and the proprietor of Aldo Sohm Wine Bar, which opened in 2014. He has also described his path as joining Le Bernardin and later opening Aldo Sohm Wine Bar, and he is identified by his official site as a sommelier, author, and winemaker. He has been recognized as Best Sommelier in the World in 2008 and received the 2009 James Beard Award for Outstanding Wine Service.
