Maguy Le Coze is the co-owner of Le Bernardin in New York City, which she co-founded with her brother Gilbert Le Coze in Paris in 1972 before the restaurant moved to Manhattan in 1986. She was born in a small fishing village in Brittany, France, where her family ran the Hotel de Rhuys, and she remains closely identified with Le Bernardin’s seafood-focused fine dining tradition.
