Since 2003, Antoine Vincent has held the winemaking role at Château de Fuissé while also serving as General Manager, a dual mandate that keeps cellar work and estate direction tied together. The result is a style built on continuity rather than effect. Traditional, artisanal methods frame the work, with modern technology brought in sparingly and only where it serves the finished wine. The guiding principle is explicit terroir: “The differences in the terroir are exactly what we want to show and develop: the singular expression of each plot.”

Freshness remains central to the house style at Château de Fuissé, and Vincent describes that as the non-negotiable point: “The key point was preserving the freshness.” That line reads like a working brief for the cellar, where detail matters more than display. He also makes the estate’s stance plain: “The château never played the fashion card; it always remained true to its fundamentals.” In practice, that means keeping the wines anchored to their own logic, with the house character allowed to hold steady against passing trends.

Antoine Vincent’s signature wines include Vincent 2015 Pouilly-Fuissé “Cuvée Marie Antoinette.” It sits squarely in the register he favors at Château de Fuissé: composed, terroir-led, and attentive to the distinctions between parcels. The bottle reflects the same discipline that runs through the estate’s broader work, where restraint is used to keep origin legible.
