Björn Freitag is a German chef, restaurateur, and television personality who runs the Michelin-starred Goldener Anker in Dorsten, Germany. He was born in Gelsenkirchen, trained as a cook starting in 1993, and took over the family restaurant in 1997 after his father's death. Under his leadership, Goldener Anker received a Michelin star and has retained it in subsequent years.
