Caroline Caporossi

Caroline Caporossi is an American-Italian hospitality and social-impact entrepreneur based in Modena, Italy, best known as co-founder of Roots, a social enterprise restaurant that trains migrant women for careers in hospitality. She also co-founded the Association for the Integration of Women (AIW) in 2020 and, together with chef Jessica Rosval and co-founder Maria Assunta Ioele, opened Roots in 2022. Caporossi and Rosval were named Champions of Change by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants for their work empowering migrant women through paid culinary training and social integration.
