i. Biography
Chris Hannah is a New Orleans bartender and cofounder/partner at Jewel of the South, where he directs the cocktail program, and he also co-founded Manolito, a Cuban bar in the French Quarter. He spent 14 years behind the bar at Arnaud’s French 75 Bar before moving on to open his own venues, with Jewel of the South opening in 2019 and Manolito in 2018. Hannah has been recognized for his bar leadership, including a James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program tied to his work in New Orleans.
