Danielle Coetsee

Danielle Coetsee is the Cap Classique winemaker at Boschendal in the Franschhoek Valley, where she was responsible for the estate’s sparkling-wine production and R&D work on Cap Classique quality. She joined Boschendal after harvest 2017 and was described in 2022 and 2024 coverage as the estate’s Cap Classique winemaker, while Boschendal later noted she had moved through roles including assistant winemaker and white-wine responsibilities before returning to Cap Classique. She won Woman Winemaker of the Year at the 2020 South Africa Wine and Spirits Awards.
