i. Biography
Ethan Liu is a Beijing native and award-winning bartender who co-founded CMYK in Changsha, Hunan, China, and is the venue’s owner. He also co-founded Hope and Sesame in Shenzhen and has overseen CMYK’s operation, training, and menu development while assisting other independent venues across China. CMYK entered Asia’s 50 Best Bars list in 2024 and was ranked No. 27 in 2026.
