Since 1997, Fabrizio Ressia has been the winemaker and producer at Azienda Agricola Ressia, shaping the estate’s work with the steady logic of a grower who trusts the vine before the vessel. In Neive, where the landscape itself seems to teach patience, his long tenure has been marked by attention to the earliest and most exacting stage of winegrowing: the vineyard. Rather than chasing intervention for its own sake, Ressia’s path has been defined by the conviction that the best wines begin long before harvest, in the careful cultivation of healthy, expressive fruit. That is the discipline at the center of his practice, and it has remained constant across the years.

The Work Today

That same role continues today at the estate in Neive, where Ressia’s work is guided by precision, restraint, and respect for the identity of the grapes. His signature work is Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Vigna Canova, a wine that reflects his preference for clarity over embellishment, letting the character of the raw material remain legible in the finished bottle.
