Gautier Thévenet

Gautier Thévenet is the winemaker at Domaine de la Bongran in Clessé, in Burgundy’s Viré-Clessé appellation, where he has been involved since 1996 and taken over the estate’s viticulture and winemaking since 2000. The estate, part of the Thévenet family’s vineyards in Quintaine, produces Chardonnay-based white wines and has been certified organic since the 2012 vintage. His father Jean Thévenet remains associated with the domaine, but Gautier is the person identified as running the winery.
