i. Biography
Germán Carrizo is an Argentine chef from Mendoza who moved to Valencia more than a decade ago and worked in the kitchens of Vuelve Carolina and El Poblet before becoming co-founder and chef at Fierro in Valencia. Fierro opened in 2015 in Ruzafa and was awarded a Michelin star; Carrizo and Carito Lourenço are identified as the restaurant’s chefs and creative force.
