Ghislain de Charnacé

Ghislain de Charnacé is a French winegrower associated with Château de Bellet in Nice, where he took over the family estate in 1970 and vinified many vintages while defending the Bellet appellation. He was president of the Bellet wine growers’ syndicate and later president of honor of the appellation’s defense-and-management body, and he was recognized with the rank of Commandeur du Mérite agricole. In 2012, the estate was sold, but he remained involved in winemaking during the transition period.
