i. Biography
Hans Välimäki is a Finnish chef, restaurateur, and media personality who earned two Michelin stars and global recognition as the chef-owner of Chez Dominique in Helsinki from 1998 to 2013. Following Chez Dominique, he co-founded several prominent Helsinki dining establishments, including Bistro Bardot, The Rook, Bistro Gina, and Bouchon Carême. A well-known television host, he served as the chief judge on Top Chef Suomi and fronted the restaurant makeover series Kuppilat kuntoon, Hans Välimäki!.
