Heinz Frischengruber is Kellermeister and Oenologist at Domäne Wachau in Dürnstein, where he is part of the leadership team alongside Roman Horvath MW. Domäne Wachau identifies him as coming from a Wachau grower family and notes that his training included the Weinbauschule Klosterneuburg, FH Burgenland, and oenology studies at Geisenheim, followed by work and travel in Austria, Germany, California, and South Africa.
