i. Biography
Hwang Jin-seon is a Korean chef and the owner chef of Jinjin (진진), a Chinese restaurant in Mapo-gu, Seoul, where he has worked alongside chef Wang Yuk-seong. He previously worked at Koreana Hotel’s Daesanghae from 2006 to 2013 before opening Jinjin in 2014; Jinjin was awarded a Michelin star for several years and later a Michelin Bib Gourmand from 2020 to 2024. He also appeared on Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars / Black and White Chef.
