James Hackney

James Hackney is the Executive Chef at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, where he leads twenty-eight Atlantic on Cape Cod and is credited by the resort with helping elevate the restaurant to Forbes Five-Star status. The resort identifies him as originally from Leicestershire, England, and says he was inspired to pursue cooking while working at his parents’ Garden Hotel in the English countryside. Prior to Wequassett, he served as Chef de Cuisine at Boston’s L’Espalier and also worked at Blantyre in Lenox, Massachusetts and Charlie Palmer’s Aquaterra in Palm Beach, Florida.
