Jean Guyon trained at École Boulle, an education that suggests precision from the outset, a grounding in craft before commerce. He then went on to work as interior designer at Paris, a role he held until 1989. Today, Jean is owner and man in charge of Château Haut Condissas, carrying that same sense of considered composition into the vineyard and cellar.

At the Bégadan estate, he is both proprietor and the person in charge, a combination that gives his work its particular coherence. Château Haut Condissas is not simply a name on a label but the place where Jean’s judgment, taste, and temperament meet the practical realities of making wine.
